The Cleveland Indians are going to the World Series. They won their division and continued to win in postseason. They are managed by one of my favorites Terry Francona. Francona managed the Boston Red Sox to two World Series Championships. Then, the franchise ran him out. He worked at ESPN as a MLB analyst for one year. The Cleveland Indians hired him right away. That was a very smart move.

The Cleveland Indians have not won the World Series since 1948. Cleveland is in its first World Series since 1997. This is a very dangerous team this season. They have all the great ingredients to possibly win this years World Series. Now, their opponent has been not finalized yet. It will either be the Chicago Cubs or the Los Angeles Dodgers. Both teams are playing superlative baseball.

This years Indians team has the best pitching in the American League and have had many injuries too. They added to key players before the trade deadline. Those players are Andrew Miller who has pitched lights out and veteran outfielder Coco Crisp. This is a tight team. With Napoli, Kipnis, Kluber, Lindor, and Santana. Like I said their well managed and have made some great moves. Could this be the city of Cleveland's year? With the Cavalier's winning the NBA Championship, it might be in the cards.
