Injuries to key Detroit Tigers may well have cost them their Sunday afternoon game against the Baltimore Orioles.

The Tigers lost the final series of their six game road trip to Pittsburgh and Baltimore after the Orioles won 5-3.

Pitcher Daniel Norris had given up three hits, including two home runs, and three runs total in his less than three innings on the mound.

Norris left the game in the 3rd inning with left groin tightness according to MLB.com's Jason Beck. The good news is judging by Norris' apparent reluctance to leave the game, it doesn't look like this will be a long term injury.

First baseman Miguel Cabrera also left the game much earlier than preferred when he began experiencing a left biceps spasm in the bottom of the fifth inning.

Cabrera grounded out in both at bats before heading back to the dugout. Niko Goodrum replaced Cabrera at first base.

Goodrum, for his part, had one hit and one RBI on the day.
