CAAC Realigning for 2018-19 Season
UPDATE: A previous version of this article had Charlotte and Fowlerville in the incorrect conferences for the realignment, it has since been corrected.
The Capital Area Activities Conference could have some new rivalries brewing later this decade thanks to the conference's new realignment plan for 2018-19.
The new plan would align schools into conferences based on enrollment in the same order of Blue, Red and White. This would cause six schools to be moved to different conferences inside the CAAC.
Under the new plan CAAC alignment would look like this, with moving teams in italics.
CAAC Blue: DeWitt, East Lansing, Grand Ledge, Holt, Jackson, Lansing Everett, Okemos, Waverly
CAAC Red: Fowlerville, Haslett, Lansing Eastern, Mason, St. Johns, Williamston
CAAC White: Charlotte (re-joining CAAC in 2017-18 in the Red), Eaton Rapids, Ionia, Lansing Catholic, Lansing Sexton, Portland
