On Tuesday morning, the Big Ten Conference announced who each conference team would play, and how often, for the 2023-24 men's basketball season.

As for Michigan State, they will play defending league and tournament champion Purdue once next season.  And it will be played at Mackey Arena in West Lafayette, Indiana next winter.

The Spartans will play Indiana and Nebraska once next season (on the road), and they'll play Iowa, Ohio State, and Rutgers once next year (at the Breslin Center).

MSU will play the other seven Big Ten schools twice next season (home and away).  That includes Michigan, Illinois, and Wisconsin.

As for Michigan, they will play Indiana, Wisconsin, and Minnesota once (at home).  And they'll play Maryland, Northwestern, and Penn State once (on the road).

The Wolverines will play the other seven league teams twice next season.  That includes Michigan State, Purdue, and Illinois.

The official Big Ten conference schedule (with dates and times) will be announced by the league later this year.  Purdue won the regular season and tournament titles this past season.  MSU finished fourth in the league at 11-8, while Michigan finished tied for fifth at 11-9.  Both the Spartans and Wolverines lost in the first round of the Big Ten Tournament this past season.

The 2024 Big Ten Men's Basketball Tournament is next March 13th-17th at the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota.  It will be the first time that the Big Ten tourney will be played in Minnesota.
