Within the state of Michigan we have some great colleges and fans are passionate about them. The University of Michigan, Michigan State University, Western Michigan University, Central Michigan University, Eastern Michigan University and all of the other colleges in Michigan have loyal fan bases that travel well to cheer on their team.

U of M and MSU have the biggest fan bases. Depending on where you might be traveling within our state lines, odds are you'll find a "themed" bar that is loyal to your university. For instance, if you are somewhere close to Mount Pleasant you'll likely enter a Chip's themed bar. Down towards Ypsilanti you might find an Easter Michigan University themed bar.

If you are heading out of state you might run into some themed bars for your favorite college. If you are a Spartan fan, Chicago has some awesome "MSU" themed bars that you can catch a game and be surrounded by fellow Spartan Fans and Spartan alum.

There must be a loyal Spartan fanbase in the Windy City, Chicago dyes the river green every year. Of course it's for St. Patrick's Day, I couldn't resist.

I have heard about these bars in Chicago that are loyal to Michigan State. Some of my friends have been to these and they spoke very highly about the venue and all of them had a blast. Go Green! Chicagospartans.com has more info for MSU Fans.
