College football is entering the final month of its regular season, and the NFL is at the midway point. That means there are big games all over the place.

The SEC East Division title will be settled this weekend when the undefeated and College Football Playoff rankings-leading Tennessee Volunteers go between the hedges at the reigning nation champion and No. 3 Georgia Bulldogs. Will the Vols' vaunted passing attack claim yet another victim, or will the Dawgs use those initial rankings as disrespect-fuel and remind the world why they won it all next year?

Nick Saban and Brian Kelly will lock horns in a battle of two of the most ornery coaches in the game. Oh, and the two teams will play a football game, which will have huge implications as to who will represent the SEC West in the conference's championship game.

In South Bend, there's a chance at redemption for DJ Uiagalelei, but also for the Fighting Irish, who all of a sudden are 5-1 since falling to 0-2 with an unthinkable home loss to Marshall.

And then there's Michigan State. Whatever hopes the Spartans still have for a postseason are on the line at Illinois. MSU must pull off an upset of the nation's No. 1 scoring defense, otherwise the Spartans have no margin for error the rest of the season. If State loses to the Illini and falls to 3-6, it will have to win its remaining three games to qualify for a bowl game and, more importantly, the 20 extra practices that come with it. And do you really think this MSU team can beat Rutgers and Indiana at home then Penn State on the road, all over the course of three consecutive weeks?

I've also sprinkled in some NFL games for you, too. You're welcome.

Does Georgia take out its disrespect-fueled anger over the initial CFP rankings on Tennessee? Will Brian Kelly best Nick Saban? Can MSU keep its bowl hopes alive at Illinois?

The Packers have lost four in a row. The Lions have lost five straight. Something's got to give!
