Some gravel roads in the Bath area just can't be scraped due to the constant melting and freezing of the roads.

"We are aware that some gravels are in rough shape. This mild weather combined with rain, light snow, freezing rain, causing some melt and refreezing, does not allow us to scrape them."  In a statement released from the Clinton County Road Commission.

According to the CCRC, they have tried to scrape a few of the roads, but only found it made things worse. They are hoping to try again more when the weather better cooperates.
