The Big Ten Conference released the 2023 conference schedule on Wednesday afternoon.

And the annual Michigan-Michigan State game will be played next October 21st in East Lansing.

This year's tilt is this Saturday night in Ann Arbor.  You can hear it on our sister stations 1240 WJIM-AM and 94.9 WMMQ starting with the White Law PLLC Tailgate Show beginning at 4:00pm.

The Spartans will open the 2023 season on September 2nd against Central Michigan.  They then follow that with non-conference games against Richmond (September 9th) and Washington (September 16th) in Spartan Stadium.

MSU will play Ohio State in Columbus on November 11th.  And they'll finish the conference schedule (and the regular season) on November 25th in East Lansing against Penn State.

As for Michigan, they start the season on September 2nd against East Carolina in Ann Arbor.  It's followed by home games against Nevada-Las Vegas (September 9th) and Bowling Green (September 16th).  The Wolverines will host Ohio State in the regular season finale on November 25th.

Other notable conference games include:  Penn State at Ohio State on October 21st.  The annual battle for the Old Oaken Bucket between Purdue and Indiana will be on November 25th in West Lafayette, IN.  The battle for the Little Brown Jug between Michigan and Minnesota will be on October 7th in Minneapolis.  The Spartans are at Minnesota on October 28th.

Conference schedules after 2023 will be different as the University of Southern California (USC) and the University of California-Los Angeles (UCLA) join the Big Ten in 2024.

Next year's Big Ten Championship game will be at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis next December 2nd.
