Aubrey Dawkins Transferring From Michigan
Sophomore guard/forward Aubrey Dawkins will transfer from the University of Michigan basketball program to join his father, Johnny Dawkins, who is the newly hired head coach at Central Florida.
Dawkins was a valuable reserve for head coach John Beilein in his two seasons in Ann Arbor. He averaged just under 7 points game in 66 games played.
This leaves Michigan with 12 scholarship players, one under the scholarship limit for men's basketball.
