Area 313 Golf Challenge To Feature Kid Rock, Red Wings Stars In Action

The Rocket Mortage Classic is in Detroit June 27-30 at the Detroit Golf Club.   Along with the classic there will be a celebrity/sports star event called, Area 313 Challenge.

According to M-Live, celebrities will take part in the challenge along with PGA pros on Tuesday, June 26.

Kid Rock, Dylan Larkin,Justin Abdelkader & Jimmy Howard of the Red Wings, Tom Izzo and NFL Hall of Fame Running Back, Jerome Bettis are among the names participating.

They will be paired with Rickie Fowler, Dustin Johnson and Bubba Watson for the challenge.

The three teams will take on three holes playing a scramble format.  Tickets for the event are $10 bucks.

The Detroit Country Club will host the event along with the Rocket Mortage Classic PGA event.
