Are These Coaches Finally Making A Move?

Well, the coaching carousel just got fired up again. Oklahoma, says goodbye to their solid head coach Lincoln Riley and Notre Dame will say goodbye to their head coach, Brian Kelly, after ten years.

Of course, Kelly came from Grand Valley to CMU, to Cincinnati, to Notre Dame, and now LSU. Brian Kelly leaves South Bend as the winningest head coach ever in ND history.

Even, more victories than Knute Rockne, Ara Parseghian and Lou Holtz. But, money talks and that was the lure for him and all these coaches. Lincoln Riley’s new destination will be Southern California and USC.

The Trojans have been under fire for years and haven’t been that good either. This isn’t anything new. People want to get the best deal they can possibly get. But, a lot of people feel this is wrong. I don’t. If you can get paid with that kind of money and it’s guaranteed.

God Bless you for putting yourself in that position. But, in my opinion, you still have to win and pay dividends.

Coaches will always be on the move. It’s part of the job. So, it starts with these coaches and won’t end with them also. It’s part of the occupation. Strike when the iron is hot.
