AP Report: PGA Championship Moving To May

The Associated Press is reporting that the PGA Championship, golf's final major of the year, will be moving to May and away from its traditional August placement beginning in 2019.

An official announcement could come at this week's PGA Championship at Quail Hollow CC near Charlotte, North Carolina.

American Jimmy Walker is the defending champion of the PGA.  And if fellow American Jordan Spieth wins the Wanamaker Trophy (pictured) this week, he will complete the career Grand Slam (Masters, U.S. and British Opens, and the PGA).
