Alvin Ellis III Charged with Alcohol Misdemeanors
MSU Men's Basketball Junior to be Alvin Ellis III has been charged with multiple alcohol offenses this off-season.
Ellis was charged with misdemeanor underage purchase and consumption or possession of alcohol from an incident on May 2nd. Those charges were dismissed.
The 20 year old has pleaded not guilty to another incident on June 19th where he was charged with underage purchase and consumption or possession of alcohol.
MSU Head Coach Tom Izzo says he was "disappointed" in Ellis after the charges. Ellis' teammate, Eron Harris has been suspended from the basketball team indefinitely for driving while intoxicated from a July 1st incident.
