Deliciousness is never too far away in East Lansing. Being a college town, East Lansing has a multitude of eateries to accommodate both the shear number of people (think about how many people come to East Lansing for big game days...) and all the different taste preferences. It's no wonder that when MLive did a poll asking people to vote for Michigan's Best College Eats, that nine different East Lansing eateries made the list.

Michigan State students and alumni, as well as East Lansing residents know how good all the restaurants are in East Lansing. If you want to plan a weekend eating excursion and try to grab a meal at all the different restaurants that were voted "Michigan's Best College Eats", check them out in the list below.

    The Peanut Barrel

    The Peanut Barrel in Downtown East Lansing is always a favorite. They offer up excellent burgers and sandwiches, along with a chance to play darts.

    Dagwood's Tavern & Grill

    Dagwood's, while technically in Lansing, is definitely a favorite college eat. They've got a delicious and wallet-friendly burger, beer, and fries lunch special. Not to mention numerous fried appetizers to enjoy during game time.

    Harrison Roadhouse

    Harrison Roadhouse has good food, good live entertainment, and has a proximity to Michigan State's campus that can't be beat.

    Giant grilled wraps that include everything from ham and chicken and tater tots, to a variety of cheeses and sauces. It's perfect for on-the-go eating and/or to cure that hangover.
