The Detroit Tigers (43-32) sweep another series, this time against the Texas Rangers (35-43), beating them, 6-0. This victory increases their winning streak to 7 games. The action started in the 2nd inning after Rangers Pitcher Nick Martinez walked Torii Hunter with the bases loaded, scoring Nick Castellanos. Tigers would add onto their lead in the 3rd after a line drive single off the bat of Austin Jackson brought home Castellaons. Ian Kinsler would hit a line drive single to score Jackson. In the 4th, J.D. Martinez hit a sacrifice fly to score a run from Miguel Cabrera. During the 6th, Cabrera hit a fly double, leading to an error from Shin-Soo Choo, resulting in a run for Ian Kinsler.
