2019 Hockeytown 5K Announced For September 8th

The Detroit Red Wings have announced the 2019 Hockeytown 5k to take place in Detroit on September 8th.

According to the Red Wings, the 3rd annual event will take place in Detroit. It will start and finish near Little Caesars Arena and celebrate the upcoming season at Little Caesars Arena.  Participants of the run/walk event can wear their favorite Red Wings jerseys and apparel.

To participate you need to register for the event. If you want to walk or run there are a couple of different packages for the event.

There is a regular race registration which you will receive a runners bib, t-shirt and a medal. The cost depends on the time you register.

There is also a vip package which features the same as the other package along with a ticket to a select Red Wings game.
