The Detroit Red Wings broke their losing streak tonight against the Buffalo Sabres tonight in Hockeytown, 5-3. The Sabres struck first tonight in the 1st when Nicolas Deslauriers scored with a deflected shot. Stephen Weiss tied up the game with a deflected shot of his own, but the Sabres took back the lead when Chris Stewart scored a goal with a wrist shot. Buffalo added onto their lead in the 2nd when Andre Benoit scored with a snap shot, but Detroit struck back when Danny DeKeyser got a goal with a wrist shot. The Wings tied it all up in the 3rd with a Heinrik Zetterberg slap shot. Tomas Tatar took the lead with a power play goal. The Wings added onto their lead when Johan Franzen scored with a power play goal of his own. The on the cake was when Tatar scored again with a snap shot.The Detroit Red Wings will take a short break before taking on the Ottawa Senators on Saturday Night.
