Rick Nash scored the second with a wrist shot. The Wings fought back in the 2nd period, scoring the only 2 goals. Riley Sheahan got the wings on the board with a backhand. Luke Glendening tied the game up with a wrist shot, Joakim Andersson and Drew Miller on the assist. The Wings took the lead in the 3rd when Darren Helm made a snap shot. And that was all she wrote.
