Wings Take Down Rangers, 3-2
The Detroit Red Wings rallied from behind to beat the New York Rangers, 3-2. The Rangers took the lead in the 1st period with 2 goals. The first being scored by Kevin Klein with a wrist shot. Rick Nash scored the second with a wrist shot. The Wings fought back in the 2nd period, scoring the only 2 goals. Riley Sheahan got the wings on the board with a backhand. Luke Glendening tied the game up with a wrist shot, Joakim Andersson and Drew Miller on the assist. The Wings took the lead in the 3rd when Darren Helm made a snap shot. And that was all she wrote. With this win, Head Coach Mike Babcock had won his 500th victory as a coach.
