The Detroit Red Wings took down the Winnipeg Jets tonight, 4-3. Dustin Byfuglien put the Jets ahead in the 2nd period with a slap shot goal. Adam Lowry added on to the Jet's lead with a tip-in goal. The Wings fought back when Tomas Tatar netted a goal with a wrist shot. Johan Franzen tied everything up with a power play goal, Tomas Jurco and Danny DeKeyser on the assist. But Winnipeg struck back after Mathieu Perreault made a snap shot to bring the Jets back in the lead. The Wings tied everything up again in the 3rd after Justin Abdelkadter tipped in the puck into the net and scored a goal. Tatar took the lead for Detroit with a snap shot, 4-3 Detroit.
