The Detroit Lions find themselves in a pretty interesting situation. Because they lost the last three games, they didn't win their division. The Packers ended up by winning the division with their scalding of the Lions Sunday night. So, now the Lions face the Seattle Seahawks Saturday night in Seattle. This is not a very good way to start NFL playoff run.

The Lions could have won their division, which could have gave them home field advantage. But that didn't happen. The Lions have injuries on the defense and have to play on the road against a dangerous team.

The Seattle Seahawks are led by quarterback Russell Wilson. Wilson played at North Carolina and Wisconsin. He is a great athlete who also has played minor league baseball. The Seahawks made him a middle round draft choice and he led them to a Super Bowl Championship. The Lions have had some trouble with their secondary in the past three games. Detroit has faced Eli Manning, Dak Prescott, Aaron Rodgers and now Russell Wilson. This is going to be a very tough task.

The Lions are a road underdog. They have an enormous task to beat Russell Wilson and the Seahawks. But, anything is possible. But I really feel Detroit has to be perfect and that will be impossible. If the Lions secondary can somewhat contain Russell's arm they will be in the game.
