Michigan State basketball has a new member.

Eron Harris, a 6-foot-3 guard, announced Monday he will transfer from West Virginia to MSU.

Harris started 32 of 33 games for the Mountaineers this past season, which was his sophomore year. He averaged 17.2 points and 3.5 rebounds for game, while shooting 42.2 percent from behind the arc and 43.8 percent overall.

Harris, an Indianapolis native, was rated a 3 star prospect in high school by various recruiting services. He was recruited by Wisconsin, Dayton and Xavier in addition to several others.
