Watch Adreian Payne’s Awesome Dunk, Even Better Celebration

Michigan State’s Adreian Payne competed in the college basketball slam dunk competition Thursday night, and the outgoing senior brought the house down with an impressive aerial display.

But Payne’s post-dunk celebration elicited an even bigger response from the crowd.

He finished third in the event, which was part of Final Four festivities in Dallas. Oakland’s Travis Bader, an Okemos native, finished runner-up in the 3-point shooting contest.

Check out Payne’s performance in the video below. There’s even a cameo from Lacey Holsworth, Payne’s 8-year-old friend from St. Johns who has grown close to the NBA-bound big man during her battle with cancer.
