Golden State defeated Cleveland 122-103 on Sunday night to take a 2-0 series lead in the 2018 NBA finals.

The Warriors led wire to wire and Steph Curry hit an NBA Finals record nine three-pointers but perhaps the best moment of the game came in the first quarter when JR Smith stepped to the free throw line.

If you'll remember from game 1, Smith had the ball eight feet from the basket in a time game with four seconds left. Rather than take a shot or look to outlet for the winner, he simply ran the ball out to half court and kicked it out too late for a shot to get off.

Smith claims he knew the game was tied at the time. Sure.

The series now shifts to Cleveland for games three and four Wednesday and Friday night. The Warriors are looking to repeat as champions and win their third championship in four years.
