The University of Denver traveled to Kalamazoo for a NCHC weekend series with Western Michigan. When they were set to hit the ice for a practice there was just one problem.

They didn't have any sticks.

Give Denver some credit ice time is valuable, and they didn't waste it.

The stickless practice didn't pay off however as the #1 Denver Pioneers were blanked by Western Michigan 3-0 in the first game of the weekend series. For those wondering they did in fact get their sticks in time.
