In a season where he shot a league-worst 35.5% from the free throw line, Andre Drummond's head coach says that the All-Star is thinking about shooting under-handed, amongst other possibilities next season.

Detroit Pistons head coach Stan Van Gundy told the media on Thursday that, after his end-of-season conversation with his center, he is open to changing his free throw technique for next year.

Drummond was replaced in the final minutes of many games during the 2015-16 season, including the final two games of their playoff series against Cleveland, becuase of his lousy free throw shooting.

The 22 year-old is a restricted free agent on July 1st, Drummond is expected to get around a max-level contract this summer.
