Utah and Michigan kick off the college football season in prime time Thursday night.

One of those teams is coming off a 9-4 season with a bowl win and a Top 25 finish. The other wasn't even .500.

But given the media coverage and hype, you'd think it was Michigan who was coming off the solid season, not the Utes. But that doesn't bother head coach Kyle Whittingham.

Whittingham joined The AM Game Plan on The Game 730 AM WVFN on Wednesday morning to talk about his team's opener versus the Wolverines, who are entering the Jim Harbaugh era. Whittingham said all the buzz around Harbaugh doesn't register with him and his team, and in fact they prefer to be overlooked.
