Attorneys representing three ex-Michigan State football players facing sexual assault charges met with Ingham County Prosecutors today in Ingham County Circuit Court.

Judge Rosemarie Aquilina will preside over the trial.

Their clients, Donnie Corley, Demetric Vance and Joshua King waited outside during the meeting.

The Lansing State Journal's Christopher Haxel reports it is unclear exactly what was discussed today.

Vance's attorney, Mary Chartier commented "I think we are gearing up for a trial just like any other case," according to Haxel.

Though no public hearing will be held, another hearing is scheduled for Apr. 4.

Last fall reports surfaced that the three were considering a plea arrangement.

Charges against the trio stem from a January 2017 incident in a university apartment.

According the MSU Police, the woman claims King initially lured her into a room alone before initiating sexual contact. Vance and Corley joined in later.

King could face up to life in prison if convicted. Charges against Vance and Corley carry up to a 15 year sentence.

An alleged video tape of King engaging in sexual activities with the women in question also hangs in the balance.

Currently all three players are out on bond.
