University of Michigan Set To Announce New AD

Multiple media outlets are reporting that the University of Michigan have found an athletic director to replace interim AD Jim Hackett.

He is Connecticut AD Ward Manuel, he is a Michigan alum and played football under Bo Schembechler.  He has been at UCONN since 2012.  He was the AD at the University of Buffalo before that for seven years.

An official word could come down as soon as this week.  Michigan has been looking for a permanent AD since David Brandon resigned in the fall of 2014.
