Travis Trice scored 25 points, 16 in the second half as Michigan State rallied in the second half to win their first conference road game of the season 75-61 at Carver-Hawkeye Arena Thursday night. The Spartans (11-5, 2-1 Big Ten) started the game on a 10-2 run but the Hawkeyes fought back to take an 11 point lead at the half.  However, MSU outscored Iowa by 25 points in the second half led by a flurry of three point baskets by Trice and Denzel Valentine who combined for seven in the half.  Michigan State had three scorers in double figures led by Trice, Valentine who scored 18 and Branden Dawson who scored 14 points and pulled down 15 rebounds. Iowa (11-5 2-1) was led by Jarrod Uthoff who scored 12. Michigan State returns home to take on the Northwestern Wildcats on Sunday afternoon at Breslin Center.
