It's that time of the year once again. March Madness is here at last, where we will see who is crowned king of college basketball.

The next three weeks is going to be full of excitement, frustration, anticipation, and great college hoops.

The NCAA championship will be played in Arlington, Texas on April 7. There are two teams making their first NCAA tournament appearances: Cal Poly and North Carolina Central. The No. 1 seeds this year are Florida, Virginia, Arizona, and Wichita State, who hasn't lost a game yet this season.

I love this time of the year. Warm weather is right around the corner and the thrill of March Madness dances through our heads like sugar plums. The thing that's so great with the tournament is excitement, frustration, anticipation and great basketball.

This year's field is wide open. Our president and Commander and Chief Barack Obama picked Michigan State to win the entire tournament this year. Tom Izzo has had to endure a lot with all the injuries to the Spartan team. MSU was ranked No. 1 in the country for three weeks at the beginning of the season. Then the injury bug hit his team.

Anyway you dice it or slice it get, those last-minute brackets filled out.  On April 7 we will find out who is the true king of college basketball.
