The Detroit Tigers (41-32) delivered some long awaited payback against the Texas Rangers (35-41) tonight, 8-2. They now have a 5 game win streak. The action started early for Detroit, with a single run homer off the bat of Ian Kinsler. The Tigers would keep the lead until the 3rd when Adrian Beltre scored Daniel Robertson off of a  ground single. In the 7th the Tigers fought back with J.D. Martinez hitting a single run homer to take the lead. A line drive single from Alex Avila scored Austin Jackson,  A line drive single from Rajai Davis scored Eugenio Suarez and Alex Avila. To finish it off, Victor Martinez was walked with bases loaded to bring home Suarez. In the 8th, Ian Kinsler hit a line drive single to score Suarez. In the 9th, Leonys Martin hit a line drive double to score Rougned Odor. That would be all she wrote. The Tigers go up against the Rangers tomorrow.
