Tigers take down the D-Backs, 11-5

The Detroit Tigers (56-42) take the series against the Arizona Diamondbacks (44-58) today, 11-5.It was a great start for the Tigers, starting in the 2nd, after Alex Avila got a hold of a line drive double scoring Victor Martinez and Don Kelly. Avila came back in the 4th, hitting a a sacrifice fly to score Miguel Cabrera. Austin Jackson hit a line drive double to bring home Andrew Romine and Don Kelly. Rajai Davis would go to hit a ground ball single to bring home Jackson. The D-Backs started coming back in the 5th after Martin Prado hit a ground double to score Gerardo Perra . Didi Gregorius took the plate and hit a 2 run homer. In the 6th, Parra hit a ground single, scoring Paul Goldschmidt. In the 7th, David Peralta hit a ground single to score Gregorius.  In the 8th, Ian Kinsler hit a soft line drive single to score Jackson. Miggy took the plate and hit a 3 run homer to gain a 6 run lead. That would be all she wrote on this game, The Tigers go to California to play against the Angels tomorrow.
