Tigers Sweep the White Sox, 5-1
The Detroit Tigers (14-9) took out the Chicago White Sox (14-15) in Chicago today, 5,1. The Tigers would dominate the lead in the 4th inning. The first run scored after a sacrifice fly hit by Victor Martinez to bring home Torii Hunter. Another sacrifice fly hit Nick Castellanos brought home Miguel Cabrera. A line drive double hit by Bryan Holaday brought in runs by J.D. Martinez and Austin Jackson. The score would remain the same until the 9th when a walk with bases loaded scored a run by Bryan Holaday. The Sox would score their only run in the bottom of the 9th when a ground single hit by Tyler Flowers brought home Dayan Viciedo. The Tigers take on The Kansas City Royals on Friday night.
