Miguel Cabrera hit a three run home run with tow outs in the top of the ninth inning to lift the Detroit Tigers past the Baltimore Orioles 4-1 at Oriole Park at Camden Yards Tuesday night. Baltimore (20-17) took an early lead on Adam Jones' solo home run in the first inning and held that lead until Cabrera's heroics, Victor Martinez followed Cabrera with a solo home run to complete the scoring. Justin Miller (1-0) pitched two innings in for the win and Joe Nathan earned his ninth save for Detroit (23-12). Tommy Hunter (1-1) took the loss. The two teams conclude their series Wednesday afternoon with Justin Verlander (4-2) takes the hill for Detroit while Kevin Gausman (0-0) makes the start for the Orioles.
