Tigers Demote Rondon, Promote Jimenez

The Detroit Tigers have sent down struggling relief pitcher Bruce Rondon (pictured) to Triple-A Toledo and have brought up top prospect Joe Jimenez to the 25-man roster.

Rondon has been lit up so far in the 2017 season. He's gone 0-1 with a 40.50 ERA, while giving up six earned runs on four hits and walking three batters in three relief appearances.
