The Detroit Tigers (58-46) got their revenge against the Chicago White Sox (52-56) tonight, 7-2. The Tigers were out for blood in the first, starting with a line drive single off the bat of Victor Martinez, which scored Ian Kinsler. Torii Hunter took the plate and hit a sharp ground ball, bringing home Miguel Cabrera. J.D. Martinez got a ground ball single, scoring Victor Martinez. Nick Castellanos put the icing on the cake with a 3 run homer to give the Tigers a 6 run lead. The score would remain 6-0 til the 7th when Dylan Viciedo hit a sacrifice fly, which brought Alexei Ramirez home for a run. Nick Castellanos took the plate in the 7th and hit a line drive single to score Hunter for a run. In the top of the 9th Adam Dunnhit a single run homer. But it wasn't enough, and the Tigers have a chance to win the series against the Sox tomorrow, game broadcast begins at 12:40 on Lansing's Big Talker, 1240 AM, WJIM.
