Tigers Bomb Astros In Series Opener
The Detroit Tigers used a 16 hit attack to take out the Houston Astros on Friday night, 14-6 at Comerica Park.
Tyler Collins (pictured), Justin Upton, and James McCann each had home runs for the Tigers. Cameron Maybin was 3-5 on the night, five others had two hits apiece.
Detroit scored 7 runs in the 2nd inning to chase Astros starting pitcher Collin McHugh after just 1 2/3 innings pitched.
