Cabrera scores his 2000th career home run

The Detroit Tigers (3-0) defeated the Baltimore Orioles (1-3) this afternoon, 10-4. The Orioles scored the first runs at during the top of the first inning, Chris Davis of the Orioles hits a line drive double to bring home David Lough and Adam Jones. The Tigers scored their first run at the bottom of the second when a line drive double from Nick Castellanos allowed Austin Jackson to score. Later, a wild pitch from Miguel Gonzalez, brought in Rajai Davis for a run, tying the game. Later in the 4th inning, Rajai Davis hits a 3 run home run, followed a home run by Torii Hunter. In the 6th inning, Miguel Cabrera hit a single that brought in Ian Kinsler for a run. In the 8th, Cabrera hit a 2 run home run, marking his 2000th career hit. The Orioles scored runs in the 9th by Nelson Cruz and Steve Clevenger, until losing to The Tigers. The Tigers and The Orioles will play again Tomorrow, April 5th at 12:40 on Lansing's Big Talker, 1240 AM WJIM.
