The Detroit Tigers (5-2) beat the L.A. Dodgers (6-4) tonight in Los Angeles in extra innings, 7-6. The first run was scored by Ian Kinsler through a sacrificed fly ball made by Victor Martinez. At the bottom of the first, Andre Ethier gets a run to tie the game. Tigers take back the lead in the second with a double from Anibal Sanchez to bring Alex Gonzalez home. L.A. tied it at the bottom of the second when a sacrificed bunt from Josh Beckett got a run for Juan Uribe. At the top of the third, Nick Castellianos hit a three run home run. There would be no runs scored from either team until the 7th inning when Ian Kinsler scored a run from a sacrificed fly ball from Austin Jackson. In the 9th inning, a home run from Adrian Gonzalez, and runs from Andre Ethier and Matt Kemp tied the game and brought in extra innings. Victor Martinez would win the game with a home run in the 10th inning. The Tigers take on the San Diego Padres on Friday night, game broadcast begins at 9:45pm on Lansing's Big Talker, 1240 AM, WJIM.
