The mixture of cold, ice, hail and snow ripping through Michigan postponed baseball games for the Lansing Lugnuts and the Detroit Tigers on Saturday.

The Detroit Tigers were scheduled to play the first pitch of their game against the New York Yankees at 1:10 p.m. ET.

Instead, the game will be played tomorrow as the second game of a doubleheader in Comerica Park with first pitch scheduled for 7:10 p.m.

The Yankees have a 1-0 lead on the only series between the two teams to take place in Detroit this season.

Locally, the Lansing Lugnuts were scheduled for a first pitch at 6:05 p.m. ET against the West Michigan Whitecaps.

Tomorrow, the Lugnuts will host the Whitecaps for a doubleheader with first pitch at 1:05 p.m. Radio broadcast for the games will begin on The Game 730AM at 12:45 p.m Sunday.

Prior to the postponement, the Lugnuts planned on hosting College Keystone Night at Cooley Law School Stadium.

A new date for the theme night has yet to be announced.
