Niko Goodrum and Kevin Comer, both of whom are only 25, have joined the Detroit Tigers minor league organization according to a report from the Detroit News' Chris McCosky.

The Minnesota Twins drafted Goodrum during the second-round of the 2010 draft. He appeared in 11 games last season with the Major League club before ending the year with Triple-A affiliate, the Rochester Red Wings.

In the Majors, Goodrum went 1-17 at the plate but has potential for the organization as a utility player.

The Toronto Blue Jays drafted right-handed pitcher Comer as a first rounder in 2011. Comer reached Triple-A last season in the Houston Astros organization with the Fresno Grizzlies, where he recorded a 3.68 ERA in nine games.
