One thing that I took out of 2013 is that Floyd Mayweather Jr. is the best fighter in the world. He is 45-0 record and that speaks for itself. In 2013 he came off a 12-month layoff and won two fights with no problem. Mayweather doesn't get enough credit for the hard work he puts in to honing his craft.

The Grand Rapids native who now resides in Vegas pound for pound could be the best prize fighter of all time. His personality is brash, cocky, and almost arrogant. The difference is Floyd Jr. can back it up in the ring. He is worth millions and doesn't hide that fact. He drives very expensive cars and has an affection for big dollar sport betting.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. is part of a dying breed in pro-sports. He is an athlete that is driven and outgoing, but always delivers in the clutch!  Names like Ali, Marciano, Leonard, Louis, and all the greats might have to take a back seat when Floyd Mayweather Jr. retires.
