Well here's another true situation of a sports icon who has retired only to come back.

The Zenmaster of coaching, Phil Jackson, who won multiple NBA crowns as the head coach of the Chicago Bulls and the Los Angeles Lakers and also as a player with the New York Knicks, is going to be in charge of the Knicks as their president of operations.

Phil Jackson is on the brink of making it official. But why? I'll tell you why: The owner of the Knicks made him an offer he couldn't refuse. I call that Vito Corleone syndrome.

Jackson has been a player and a head coach. He has been more successful than any other NBA head coach.

He knows what he's getting himself into.

The media will torch him if he fails. This man has peace of mind at his compound in Montana. He also has a bad back. Plus, he has made millions in pro basketball, so why would he want the stress and headaches of this job?

This man can manage some of the biggest egos in the NBA, but this is simply something that could blow up in his face. I understand people need a challenge, but he has worked long and hard hours and deserves to relax, not get more stressed out.

Let's see how this plays out. Carmelo Anthony might not even be around!
