The Detroit Red Wings (36-26-14) beat the Boston Bruins (52-18-6) tonight in Hockeytown, 3-2.

Johnny Boychuck of the Bruins scored the first goal in the first period. In the second period, Thomas Tatar scored a goal to tie the game. In the third period, Carl Soderbergh scored to make it 2-1.

The Wings scored two goals within the span of two minutes, the first scored by Thomas Jurco, with Gustav Nyquist scoring right behind him, to take the first lead of the night for the Wings.
