The Detroit Red Wings lost to the Boston Bruins in Hockeytown tonight, 3-2. Detroit took the lead in the first period with a power play slapshot goal from Niklas Kronwall. In the second period, Pavel Datysuk scored a wrist shot goal to give Detroit the two goal lead. The Bruins would score next with Torey Krug with a slap shot during a power play. In the third period, Boston would tie it up with a wrist shot from Milan Lucic. During sudden death overtime, Jarome Iginla scored the game winning goal with a tap in. The Bruins now lead 3-1 in the playoffs against the wings. The Wings play again on Saturday after the MSU Football Scrimmage, on Lansing's Big Talker, 1240 AM, WJIM.
