Last night was the game of games. The NCAA Championship was decided at the buzzer. The Villanova Wildcats beat the North Carolina Tar Heels last night in Houston. It was Nova's Kris Jenkins that hit a three point shot at the buzzer for the national title. It is head coach of Villanova Jay Wright's first National Championship. He is an outstanding coach.

The Wildcats cut the cake 77, North Carolina 74. This has been an agonizing tournament for a lot of MSU Spartan fans after their crushing defeat at the hands of Middle Tennessee. But, there is a story line here with North Carolina. They have been under investigation with the NCAA for academic fraud with former players. In my humble opinion they shouldn't have been let in the big tournament. But, Roy Williams their head coach is a Hall of Fame coach and North Carolina is very marketable for advertising revenue, only with the NCAA.

The Villanova Wildcats and the Tar Heels put on a great basketball, show for the tourney championship. Not only was it a great game, but MSU's head coach Tom Izzo was elected into the basketball Hall of Fame.  So, this season is finally over!
