The Detroit Tigers (24-12) swept a 3 game series against the Baltimore Orioles (20-18) today in Baltimore, 5-7. The action started for Detroit in the 3rd when Miguel Cabrera hit a line drive single to bring home Danny Worth. In the 4th, Bryan Holaday hit a line drive single to score Austin Jackson. A bunt from Worth scored a run from Don Kelly, and a sacrifice fly from Rajai Davis scored Holaday. The Tigers would still score runs in the 5th when a single from Kelly scored Victor Martinez. The Orioles came back with a vengeance in the 5th, starting with a sharp ground single from Adam Jones to score David Lough. A ground single hit by Chris Davis scored Manny Machado. Nelson Cruz would go on to hit a 3 run home run for the Orioles. In the 6th, Rajai Davis hit a single run home run. That would be enough to win the game.
