The Detroit Tigers swept the Boston Red Sox this week, but it was something that happened before the series finale that has people intrigued.

Tigers middle infielders Ian Kinsler and Jose Iglesias decided to play some rock, paper, scissors with a bit of a contact sport twist.

Here's Miguel Cabrera's view of the encounter

And here's one more alternate angle replay courtesy of reliever Alex Wilson.

Baseball players are known for their odd antics, however, this wasn't during a rain delay. Just the lead up to a day game that the Tigers ended up winning 4-3 on a Miguel Cabrera home run in the 9th.

Staying loose in the clubhouse seems to lead to on-field success.
