It was another rough night for the Detroit Tigers (33-28), losing to the Chicago White Sox (33-33), 8-2. Chicago would get on the board first in the 2nd inning after Jose Abreu hit a one run homer. Tigers would respond in the 4th when a ground out from Torii Hunter scored Miguel Cabrera.  It wasn't until the 6th inning that the Sox fought back hard. It all started with a grounder off the bat of Dayan Viciedo to score Abreu. A soft fly ball hit by Alejandro De Aza brought home Adam Dunn. A sharp ground single from Gordon Beckham brought home both De Aza and Adrian Nieto. A sharp line drive double from Conor Gillaspie scored both Adam Eaton and Gordon Beckham. Adam Dunn would hit a line drive single brought home Gillespe. The Tigers would be able to squeeze one last run in the 8th after a line drive double scored Eugenio Suarez. The Tigers will have one last shot at vengeance tomorrow night at 7:45 on Lansing's Big Talker, 1240 AM, WJIM.
