The Lansing Lugnuts are losing some massive star power.

The Toronto Star is reporting that Blue Jays top prospect Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and 5th rated prospect Bo Bichette are getting the call-up from Low-A Lansing to High-A Dunedin in the Florida State League this weekend.

Both Guerrero Jr. (Team World) and Bichette (Team USA) are scheduled to take part in the MLB Futures game on Sunday as a precursor to the MLB all-star break down in Miami. Both of those guys are the youngest players on their respective teams.

After the Futures game, they will head out and finish the rest of their first years in pro ball with the Dunedin Blue Jays.

Bichette was an absolute beast in the Midwest League. In 70 games he racked up a .384 batting average (recently he had that number over .400) with an OPS of 1.071. As it stands right now Bichette leads the Midwest League in hits (109), doubles (32), total bases (177), batting average, on-base percentage (.448), slugging percentage (.623) and OPS. His 51 RBIs are second in the MWL.

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. was no slouch either. Guerrero Jr. hit .316 with seven home runs and 45 RBIs, good for top 10 in the MWL in average and RBIs. He's also very disciplined at the plate, his 40 walks drawn is good for third so far in MWL play.

While in the Midwest League both players were named to the 2017 MWL All-Star game and Bichette was named the player of the week for the last week of May.
